Oberegg is a small village in a lovely position nestling between woods and meadows in the picturesque countryside of the Appenzell, 9 km north of Altstaetten and about 20 km from Lake Constance.
Numerous hikes lead from the village into the open countryside with all its wild flowers and herbs. Excursions to Bregenz, Lindau or St. Gallen, all within about 30 minutes drive.
The Oberegger ski lift is 1050 m long with a fall of 240 m. Families in particular can spend wonderful holidays here. A large network of cross country ski trails is available.
