One can view the masterpiece of Piero della Francesca in the San Francesco church: the fresque "The Legend of the Cross". The antique market on the Piazza Grande is well-known. Important, historical town with 90'000 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, in the plane, on a river, in a convenient position, 65 km north-east from Siena, 75 km south-east from Firenze.
