4-room chalet 60 m2 on 2 levels. Simple and practical furnishings: living/dining room with dining nook, TV and radio. Exit to the balcony, south facing position and west facing position. 1 room 9 m2, with sloping ceilings with 3 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with sloping ceilings with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table. Exit to the balcony. Bathroom, sep. WC. Heating. On the lower ground floor: 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), shower/WC. Large balcony, south facing position and west facing position. Balcony furniture. Partial view of the Matterhorn. Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. The 1-room apartment on the lower floor has a separate entrance.


Very old, simple chalet "Le Gros Caillou", 2 storeys. Above Zermatt, 1.5 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, 10 m from the edge of the forest, in the woods, south-west facing position. For shared use: natural state property. In the house: central heating system. Steep motor access to 400 m from the house. Steep footpath to the house. Supermarket 1.1 km, restaurant 400 m, bakery 1.2 km, 25 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Sunnegga / Rothorn" 400 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.5 km. Mountain railway, ski rental, ski bus stop 400 m, ski school 1.2 km, children's ski school 1.2 km. Paths walk near the cottage. The chalet is accessible by the ski slope "Region Sunnegga". The taxi access only to about 300m from the house, the rest is to walk.

La casa dovrebbe essere rimodernata negli arredi e nelle forniture (cucina,bagno) la posizione è splendida ma non se ne gode appieno per la manutenzione assente e per la povertà del corredo.

Nous avons passé une supere semaine, mais le materiel de cuisine n était pas en très bonne état (grille pain cassé) et nous trouvions qu'il manquait quelques trucs, comme un four à raclette. De plus la fenêtre de la cuisine ne fermait pas bien. Concernant l itineraire, je trouve dommage qu'on nous Show more ait pas dit qu'il y avait l ascenceur...plutôt que de monter avec tous les bagages à pied. Avec mes meilleures salutations.
