2-room apartment on 3rd floor, south facing position. Luxurious furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed, open-hearth fireplace, flat screen, radio and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC, sep. WC. Balcony 10 m2, south facing position. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: not suitable for children under 10 years. Non-smokers only. Pets are not allowed. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn mountain.


The use of the pool and wellness area of the Hotel Schweizerhof is accessible by an underground tunnel. Luxurious small apartment house "Whymper", built in 2007. In the centre of Zermatt, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, 100 m from the skiing area, south facing position. For shared use: indoor pool. In the house: sauna, whirlpool, lift, storage room for skis. Supermarket 20 m, restaurant, bakery, café 30 m. Mountain railway, ski bus stop 30 m.

photos de l'intérieur ne correspondent plus à la réalité,trop de tapis, mobilier sàm ancien ,manque de chaises et photo de sdb inexistante...à adapter!

« Wonderful Location and Wonderful Hosts! »

We arrived in Zermatt and our Host met us at the train station to help us with our luggage!! It was wonderful to have him help since we had our 2 small children with us and were exhausted. Luckily the house was super close to the train station that we could walk there easily (maybe 100 yards). Our Show more host guided us to the house and pointed out the grocery store and the ski school next door while we walked by. The house was lovely and modern with an amazing view of the Matterhorn. There was also an ice rink right below our balcony and a kids playground outside the front entrance. The bedroom was comfortable with an adjustable bed and nice fluffy down-filled bedding. The master bathroom was modern and perfect with 2 sinks and a large glass shower. The heated towel bar was especially nice with the cold weather. The living room was large and included 2 sofas. The sofa-bed was different from most you would see in the US, it turned into a bed without removing any cushions which made it very easy to use. The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance or gadget anyone would need and had the basics of coffee and tea, salt and pepper, and oils, etc.. The second bathroom was small but modern and perfect for my kids to use. The second bathroom does not have a shower, but my kids used the one in the master bath and it wasn't an issue. We had such a great time and our hosts were accessible for any questions or help. They actually live next door and it was nice when I couldn't figure out the laundry machine on the lower floor and they came down to help me get it started. The sauna was perfect and very nice. The indoor pool, which is attached through a below ground walkway that connects to a hotel, was also very nice and easy to get to without having to go outside. We loved it very much and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Zermatt! If you are considering staying here, you would be silly not to. Everything about it was amazing and the location is perfect! Show less

Wir, drei Erwachsene, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung. Sie ist perfekt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Der Balkon mit der freien Aussicht auf das Matterhorn ist phantastisch, und die total zentrale und doch ruhige Lage könnte nicht besser Show more sein.
