"Chalet Mandalay", 5-room chalet 120 m2 on 2 levels. Spacious and bright, comfortable and tasteful furnishings: 2 double bedrooms. Exit to the balcony. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds. Open large living/dining room 37 m2 with panoramic window with open-hearth fireplace and cable TV (flat screen), hi-fi system and DVD. Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill fondue Set (cheese)) with bar. Bath/WC, 2 showers/WC, Sauna. Underfloor heating. Natural stone floors. Small balcony 6 m2, large balcony 16 m2, terrace, lawn. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house.


Modern, beautiful, comfortable chalet "Chalet Mandalay", built in 2009. 1 km from the centre of La Tzoumaz (Les 4 Vallées), in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, 400 m from the skiing area. In the house: WiFi, sauna (all included), table tennis, storage room for bicycles, storage room for skis, ski boot dryer. Motor access to the grounds. In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking (for 4 cars) on the premises, single garage. Bar 400 m, 12 minute walk to the centre, indoor swimming pool 1 km. Tennis 1.8 km, walking paths from the house 200 m, chair lift 500 m, gondola lift 1 km, ski bus stop 100 m. Please note: ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency 4vallees4saisons.com in La Tzoumaz.

Das Ferienhaus bietet sehr schöne Zimmmer, eine tolle Umgebung ums Haus herum und eine gute Einrichtung in der Küche. Leider lies die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs und der Zimmer zu wünschen übrig.

« Grosse Entfernung zum Lift, schönes Haus »

Das Haus ist in der Tat hochwertig eingerichtet, der Eigentümer war auch aufmerksam, als es Schwierigkeiten mit dem Internet und einem Waschbecken gab. Beide Mängel wurden schnell behoben. Die Sicht vom Haus ist ganz wunderbar, man ist oft im Schatten. (English: Postive, house is nicely furnished, Show more responsive support team. Beautiful view from house which stays mostly in the shadows.) Nachteil ist, dass das Haus zwar etwa 600 Meter vom Babylift liegt, aber mehr als 1 Km von der Gondel station. Für Eltern mit Kindern, die zu den Skischulen müssen, ist daher einzuplanen, dass man frühzeitig mit dem Auto zur Gondelstation fährt. Vom Babylift kann man nur bei guten Schneebedingungen zur Gondelstation fahren und der Sessellift dort war während unserer Ferien nicht in Betrieb. Es stimmt auch das die Skibushaltestelle in der Nähe ist. Jedoch ist, insbesondere in der Nebensaison, der Fahrplan extrem ungünstig und ich war letztendlich doch auf das Auto angewiesen. Letztendlich, wenn man flexibel ist, und keine Kinder hat, kann das mit den Bussen gut klappen. (English: Negative, distance to the main gondola lift station is over 1 km, car needed. Bus connections depend on high/low season, only recommended when one doesn't depend on ski school timings) Da für mich die Nähe zu den Liften eines der Hauptkriterien war, werde ich in diesem Fall, dieses schöne Haus nur mit "befriedigend" bewerten. (English: Because "distance to the lift" was my main selection criteria I vote for an average ranking for an otherwise beautiful house.) Show less
