Bright, tasteful and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, dining table, cable TV, radio and CD-player. 1 room with 1 double bed (1 x 160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/shower, sep. WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.


Chalet "Sunnsyta". 500 m from the centre of Wengen, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 500 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 500 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, railway station "Wengen" 500 m. Cable car 500 m, slopes 50 m, children's playground 200 m. Please note: car-free holiday complex. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Lovely apartment close to the village centre without steep climbs (although there are some steps). Stunning views on 2 sides from the living room/kitchen. Slightly basic in places, so not quite what I'd expect for the star rating (cheap shower head, poor assortment of glasses & plates, chipped Show more mugs and very uncomfortable pillows) however we stayed at the end of the season. A shame, as it wouldn't take much to sort this out. Main drawback in the apartment is the lack of a dishwasher. There is a coin operated washing machine in the basement, and the internet is excellent. Show less
