Nice flat in a scenic location, with friendly and helpful owners/hosts who very graciously accommodated our very late arrival when our transit plans got messed up. Good view of the mountains, and the sound of the nearby river is a pleasant noise to fall asleep to. Very good for stargazing too, at Show more least when it isn't raining, since there is a hill right next to it and the downtown core is far enough removed that there is no light pollution. Apartment could benefit from a ceiling light right inside the doorway and more lighting around the kitchenette area (perhaps some LED strip lighting?). The one ceiling light over the dining table is not adequate illumination for the whole room, plus anyone over 165cm (like my brother, at 180something) is prone to hitting their head on it whenever sitting down or standing up, so that light as it is now is a bit of a safety hazard for tall people. (Also consider replacing the dish brush more often. That thing was nasty.) When the list of amenities includes a washing machine I kind of expect that to mean it is already included in the cost of the rental, and not something we need to pay extra to use. Also would have been nice to know that the nearest bus stop is a 15min walk away and that the bus only stops there once an hour, but that isn't really under the purview of Interhome. All in all, though, it was a pleasant stay; the Interhome staff were super friendly, polite and helpful the two times I called; and if I were ever to be revisiting the area, I'd definitely consider using Interhome to arrange my stay.
