Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, microwave) with dining table. Bath/shower/WC. Oil heating. Patio. Beautiful view. Facilities: washing machine, dryer. Please note: maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. TV only EN.

Doogort (Dugort) 135 km from Galway: Very comfortable single-family house "Glenvale Cottage", surrounded by fields. On the outskirts, in a quiet position, 1 km from the sea, located by a road. For shared use: natural garden. Parking at the house. Shop 4 km, grocery 2 km, sandy beach 1 km. Golf course 11 km. Please note: car recommended. Situated in the north of the island, not far from the former holiday home of Heinrich Boells where he wrote his famous "Irish Diary". Sea and blue flag sandy beach. Outdoor adventure centre approx 5 km. Sea fishing and archaelogical summer school 7 km. Pub and restaurant, in season only, 1 km. Ideal position to enjoy the beautiful sights of the island, hill walking and fishing.

Location Description Achill Island

Ireland's largest island, situated off the west coast of Co. Mayo. It is separated from the mainland by a narrow strip of sea, which is now bridged and open to traffic. Quiet resort, in the north-western part of the island, directly by the sea, 47 km from Castlebar, 119 km from Galway, 365 km from Rosslare. Varied and wild scenery, with mountains, open moorland and dramatic cliffs. Keel Bay is regarded as one of Europe's best beaches. Lots of archaeological remains on the island, one of which is the Deserted Village.
