1'020 - 2'438 m a.s.l. >>Quiet, family-friendly mountain village, summer holiday resort and winter sports resort with 731 inhabitants, 218 km north-east from Lyon, 110 km north-east from Annecy, 74 km south from Lausanne (Suisse). All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Resort which is part of the largest ski area in Europe. The village is also known for its gastronomy and warm welcome.

Chapelle D'Abondance links the Braitaz cable car to the 12 French and Swiss ski resorts in the Port du Soleil.
