Climate
Important, historical, quiet resort, in the north-western part of the region, 150 km north-west from Antalya, 48 km south from Kas. In the resort: shops, butchers, bakers, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, museum, attractions. Access: motorway Antalya - Kas. Access via a good road. For arrivals by plane: airport Antalya (AYT) 145 km. The town was formerly the seat of the bishop and provincial capital of Lykien. It is known for Nikolaus of Myra who originates from here. Wonderful boat trips to Kekova, Simena and Ucagiz, Patara and the Kaputa beaches. The St Nikolaus churches, cliff graves, Xantos and Andriake are a must for visitors.
