Picturesque holiday resort directly by the sea. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocers, boutiques, attractions. For arrivals by plane: airport Dalaman (DLM) 90 km, Bodrum (BJV) 160 km. The wide bay with the harbour town of Marmaris in the north west corner makes a protected harbour with its islands stretching in front and offers excellent watersports. The town picture is characterized by a large yachting harbour, a medieval stronghold, a covered bazaar as well as lively nightlife. The surrounding pine forests are a wonderful contrast to the town centre.
