Climate

Quiet resort with 3'500 inhabitants, 8 km south from Girona, 45 km south from Olot, 107 km north from Barcelona. For arrivals by plane: airport Girona (1) 12 km. The village belongs to the municipality of Bescano. Iberian settlement from 4 B.C. and the "Vulkand Crossa" and crater 4 km in diameter (nature reserve) in the area. "Via Verde", 55 km long cycle route along the old railway line (1893-1969) which goes through the valleys of the rivers Ter and Brugent. Buscano village festival on 10.08. (Sant Llorenc) and Estanyol's on 30.11.06 (Sant Andreu).
