Climate
Well-known fishing village with 13'000 inhabitants, in the western part of the region, convenient, 20 km south-west from Pontevedra, 30 km north from Vigo. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar. Access: access via a road. Railway station "Vigo". For arrivals by plane: airport Vigo (VGO) 40 km. Town dedicated to activities relating to the sea and to fishing. It is situated on the bank of the river Pontevedra and at the entrance to the river Aldan, marked by the Udra point. Due to its cultural heritage, there are many churches, windmills.. . and its natural features such as its beaches, woods and its rivers. The climate and its local food make Bueu a popular town to visit during the summer months. The current fiestas in Bueu are the Virgen del Carmen and Corpus Christi. Recommended visits: Ons island, roman church of Cela, Agrelo or Lapaman beaches, pazo de Santa Cruz or Quitapesares.
