Climate
Cosy resort, in the north-eastern part of the region, convenient, 140 km south-west from Tarragona, 120 km north-east from Valencia, 50 km north-east from Castelló de la Plana. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment, attractions. Access: access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Alcossebre y playas 10 km. Penyíscola 20 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Valencia-Manises (VLC) 125 km. Points of tourist interest: barroque church and its elegant 60 m bell tower, Castillo de Xivert, old Arab fort which overlooks the valley. Fiestas: Sant Joan (23 June), saints festivals (end of August), Moros y Cristianos (September). Interesting trips: Tinenca de Benifassa, Morella etc. From the Las Fuentes harbour, you can take trips to the Islas Columbretes (small volcanic archipelago).
