Climate

Well-known resort with 10'000 inhabitants, 23 km west from Faro, 100 km east from Sagres, 265 km south from Lisboa. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Faro (1) 27 km, Sevilla (2) 195 km, Lisboa (3) 265 km. Vilamoura has become an international holiday destination. It offers magnificent golf courses, spa centre and a lively nightlife. The climate is mild all year round. 3 km sandy beach and important yachting harbour. The Roman ruins of Cerro are at the start of town.
