Well-known holiday resort directly by the sea, 90 km north from Gdańsk, 18 km from Hel, 2 km from Jurata. In the resort: shops, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, evening entertainment. Health cures. Besides: chemist. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 2 - 13 km. Access: railway station in the resort. Bus service. Harbour Jastarnia. For arrivals by plane: airport Gdańsk (GDN) 85 km. Jastarnia is situated in the heart of the Hel peninsula, 34 km in length and the width varies from 200 m to 3 km. Jurata is nearby (2 km), Hel is 13 km and Wladyslawowo is 22 km. The largest part of the peninsula is covered with pine trees. The beaches are magnificent and natural. Due to numerous factors, holidays to Jastarnia can not be surpassed. Numerous water sports: sailing, surfing, canoeing, jet ski. But also, volleyball, tennis and walking/cycling paths. To the rear of the town, there is a little fishing village and a health spa. The town can be visited all year but is especially attractive in summer with its restaurants, cafes, bars, discos and cyber cafes all open. To visit: 19th century fishing huts as well as the harbour where boat trips can be booked.
