760 m. >>Kiczory is situated in commune of Lipnica Wielka, in Orawa, in Beskid Wysoki mountain chain - quiet village, situated at the foot of a mountain, in a secluded, idyllic position with beautiful view, 40 km west from Nowy Targ, 40 km north-west from Zakopane, 15 km north-east from Namestovo (SK). In the resort: grocers, restaurant. More possibilities for shopping 8 km. Access: bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Kraków (KRK) 70 km. In the last years Kiczory was separated from Lipnica Wielka, now it has about 560 inhabitants. It is surrounded by coniferous forest - there is a possibility of gathering blueberries. North part of Kiczory has a view onto Babia Gora, south part onto edges of Tatras. The neighbouring villages are: Lipnica Wielka, Lipnica Mala, Jablonka, Zubrzyca Gorna, Orawka. Good place to visit Orava, Podhale and Slovakia (border crossing in Lipnica Wielka). Worth visiting is Open air Museum in Zubrzyca Gorna, chapel in Oravka. In summer there is a lot of greenery, in winter a lot of snow.
