Climate

Small fishing village, 69 km from Limerick, 262 km from Rosslare. For arrivals by plane: airport Limerick (1) 69 km. Situated halfway between Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher. The remains of a castle built by the O'Connors can be found in the village and Liscannor is also the birthplace of John Holland, the inventor of the submarine. Local activities include fishing, golf, horseriding, snorkelling and diving in Kilkee.
