Situated north of Cork in the Blackwater Valley, Mallow is a thriving and prosperous market town. It is the ideal base for exploring the river and for touring the pictursque Cork countryside. In the past, Mallow was a spa town and is built around old Mallow castle. A new castle has also been built, a mansion which is now privately owned. Cork 32 km. Rosslare 193 km.
