Climate

Situated south of Corfu and north of Kefalonia, separated from the Arkanania coast by a narrow canal. A 50 m long floating bridge connects the island to the mainland. The island is only partially touristically developed and has a unique 117 km long white sandy beach and crystal clear water. Even in summer, it is still possible to have an area of beach to yourself. This and many other beaches in the region have been awarded the "Blue Flag" for cleanliness by the EU.
