Climate

This province is divided into two very different zones. The eastern part, which opens onto the Hungarian plain of Puszta and the Neusiedl lake, forms one of the main holiday centres. The southern part is a vast mountainous and wooded region, equally known for its vineyards. Rich in chateaux and fortresses, this region has much in culture to offer.
