Climate

Eastern Switzerland is a lesser known region, but all the same, just as interesting. Lake Constance (Bodensee), the falls of the Rhine near Schaffhausen the mountainous scenery of Appenzell, all make interesting excursions. Santis at 2500 m in altitude offers a magnificent panoramic view over the entire region, from Lake Constance to the snowy peaks of the Grisons.
