Climate

It is impossible to touch on Pardubice, the main town in the region, without mentioning the famous spiced breads and the horse trials in Velka pardubicka (steeple chase) arranged in Autumn. Here, hikers and cyclists can ride along numerous hiking and cycling paths. For lovers of culture there are many attractions: different theatres, museums, galleries and music festivals (country, folk) organised in high season. You must also pay a visit to the magnificent protected natural park of Polabi and, to maintain your “well being” the charming hot spring resort of Bohdanec surrounded by forests and lakes dotted around the Polabi plain.
