Climate
This region is one of the most interesting and beautiful in the Czech Republic and is known for the Krkonose national park (Giant mountain range) and the Mount Snezka, which, with 1602 m above sea level, is the highest peak in the country. The Giant Mountains are, like the protected regions of Iser, Lausitz and Jested, well used by skiers. This area is also famous in the summer season for its numerous hiking and cycling paths.
