The extreme south of Dalmatia and all Croatia make it a very special region for its natural beauty as well as for its culture and its history. This region is the most well known because this is where the most beautiful town in Croatia is located, Dubrovnik. Here the beauty of nature converges with the splendour of man-made attractions. Here, nature and its natural “jewels” are prominent like nowhere else. A range of islands offers the greenest and most beautiful, but which one is the best? Is it Korcula with its town of the same name, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, Mljet that is an area of the national park or Sipan, Lokrum or Lopud with their magnificent summer residences. There is also the fertile Konavle valley, the mountainous peninsular of Peljesac with its famous vineyards and Nereta river.

Dubrovnik is situated to the south, a fascinating town, declared a place of special interest by UNESCO. With its architectural treasures, monuments, cultural exhibitions and its extraordinary situation, Dubrovnik is an unforgettable prestigious town.
