The capital of the Czech Republic is one of the "must see" for tourists in Europe. The town built by Charles IV along both side of the Moldova is divided in several districts: Stare Mesto (old town), Josefstadt (the picturesque Jewish distric), Nove Mesto (new town), Mala Strana (small section) and Hradcany (Hradschin castle) now under the memorial safeguard act. Over 30 theatres and approx 20 music halls, 2 opera houses, for the joy of music and theatre lovers. The " Prager Fruhling" (Prague in Spring) festival takes place every year from middle May to the beginning of June. Many museums, galleries, library and archives. Indoor swimming pools.

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, also called the “golden town” or “the town with 100 bell towers”, is situated in the heart of Europe and offers many cultural treasures. Despite the sometimes less than attractive weather, you can expect a varied and interesting visit. Visit the historical centre of Prague with its beautiful houses built in many different styles, the Hradcany castle, the town hall with its famous Apotres clock, the St Vita cathedral, the St Charles bridge, the areas of Mala Strana, Stare Mesto (old town) and Josefov (old Jewish quarter).

Other attractive areas are Vysehrad with its castle situated on a hill and offering a superb view, the park with the maze and the Petron viewpoint, as well as Prague’s huge range of galleries and museums, concerts, “musicals” and other shows in the many theatres around Prague, offering a varied visit for everyone. Also, from mid-June, there is the “Springtime in Prague” festival. In the evening, everyone is invited to stroll along the banks of the Moldavia river. Many restaurants, cafes and brasseries serve good Czech and international dishes.
